Product Description

1.Cleaning Solution Supply: A CIP system typically includes a storage tank or a central supply system that holds the cleaning solution. The cleaning solution consists of water, detergent, and possibly sanitizing agents depending on the cleaning requirements.
2.Pump Priming: Before starting the CIP process, the pump needs to be primed to ensure the pump and associated piping are filled with the cleaning solution. Priming can be achieved manually or by using priming mechanisms like a self-priming pump design.

3.Pump Activation: Once the cleaning solution is ready, the CIP return pump is activated. It can be started manually or automatically depending on the system setup.
4.Suction and Discharge Connections: The CIP return pump is connected to the CIP return line, which is the dedicated line
through which the cleaning solution is recirculated. The pump has a suction connection that draws the solution from the CIP return line, and a discharge connection that returns the solution back into the cleaning circuit.
5.Recirculation of Cleaning Solution: The pump creates a flow in the CIP return line, pulling the cleaning solution from the return line and discharging it back into the cleaning circuit. This recirculation process helps distribute the cleaning solution throughout the equipment or piping being cleaned.
6.Flow Control: The flow rate of the CIP return pump can be controlled manually or automatically using valves or flow control devices. Flow control ensures the proper circulation of the cleaning solution at the desired rate to achieve effective cleaning.
7.Pressure and Velocity: The CIP return pump generates the necessary pressure and velocity to ensure the cleaning solution reaches all the surfaces to be cleaned. This helps remove soil, debris, and microorganisms from the equipment or piping.
8.Circulation Time: The duration of the recirculation process depends on the specific CIP procedure and the cleaning requirements. The cleaning solution is typically circulated for a defined period to achieve thorough cleaning and sanitization.
9.Drainage: Once the cleaning process is complete, the cleaning solution is drained from the system. The CIP return pump may be used to assist in draining the solution, depending on the system design.
10.Rinse and Sanitization: After the cleaning solution is drained, the CIP system may include additional steps for rinsing and sanitizing the equipment or piping. These steps may involve separate pumps or may be integrated into the CIP return pump system.
